If you have reached this website, congratulations!

You have spelled Shiraziefard correctly!

(or probably copied and pasted it from somewhere else)

Michelle Shiraziefard is a commission-based photographic artist. Born in Chicago, she has worked extensively throughout the United States of America. Her visual influences are drawn from 1960s pop art, Renaissance era paintings, & the surrealist movement.

Her body of work is a study of the practicality of light, and carries motifs of the convergence of intersectionality in identity politics with a primary focus on gender, race, religion, & class structures. Michelle’s photographic work aims to deconstruct how overlapping identities can result in various forms of injustice affecting individuals in their day-to-day experiences with power and authority.

Michelle Shiraziefard’s thematic perspective developed from her unique experiences as a woman of color, (amongst other factors) and by working with the world as she finds it.
